💚 Weekend Blessing: May We All Know the Kind of Love That Doesn’t Disappear

Today marks the first day of a two-week vacation from work. And as I slow down, I find myself reflecting on something deeper than rest:

Unconditional love.

Not the kind that makes someone the center of your world, that’s still conditional.

Not the kind that retreats and returns, depending on moods or fears, that’s attachment.

But the kind that stays, even in silence.

That holds, even when nothing is being asked.

That sees you, without needing you to be shinier, funnier, younger, thinner, faster, safer.

And I’ll be honest, being older and single isn’t always easy.

The dating pool shrinks.

The surface beauty fades.

And yet, inside… many of us are only just beginning to shine.

So today, I’m wishing us all this kind of love.

First, from ourselves.

Then, maybe, one day, from someone who sees us not as an option, but as a home.

🪽 May we be kind to our reflections.

🐉 May we hold our own hand first.

❤️‍🔥 And may we never forget the worth we carry, even in the quiet.
