For the leaders who are used to standing strongâŠ
and suddenly feel the ground shifting beneath them.
For the ones who know their worth,
yet keep hearing âoverqualifiedâ⊠or ânot quite there yetââŠ
as if depth, experience, and potential became something to apologize for.
For the ones navigating endings they didnât choose,
where stability quietly slips awayâŠ
and with it, clarity, energy, and that steady inner fire.
Because this is the part we donât talk about enough.
When safety shakesâŠ
even the strongest dragons donât soar the same way.
Maslow wasnât theory.
Itâs lived reality.
When your foundation feels uncertain:
đ Focus becomes foggy
đ Energy becomes fragile
đ Creativity becomes quieter
đ And showing up as your full self suddenly takes twice the strength
And yetâŠ
Even here, something powerful is still true.
You are not âless youâ in this moment.
You are you⊠under pressure.
And pressure does not erase your fire.
It reveals how much youâve been carrying.
đ
A dragon does not lose its power when it retreats to its cave.
It gathers strength.
It protects its flame.
It waits for the right moment to rise again.
So this weekend is not about pushing harder.
Itâs about permission.
đ Permission to rest without guilt
đ Permission to not have all the answers yet
đ Permission to feel the instability without judging yourself for it
đ Permission to protect your energy instead of performing strength
And maybe⊠just maybeâŠ
Instead of asking:
âWhy canât I show up like I used to?â
Gently ask:
âWhat do I need right now to feel safe enough to rise again?â
Because your fire is still there.
Not gone.
Not diminished.
Just waiting for the moment where itâs supported enoughâŠ
to breathe again.
đČ
May this weekend hold you gently.
May it return a little bit of clarity.
A little bit of energy.
A little bit of hope.
And if notâŠ
May it at least remind you
that even dragons are allowed to rest before they rise.

I love this one so much. This connects so well with my experience of being out of work. It is at times like this when things can feel very slow. It is like we are operating on hard mode. However, underneath deep inner work can be happening if we sit with the discomfort and allow the inner growth.
When we are busy with a job we have the simulation and distraction and so things can in some ways seem a lot easier. However, it is only when we are forced to slow down that we are confronted with these things that we would often rather avoid.
The simulation also often hides our tiredness and exhaustion. It is only when weâŠ
